Lets start with my previous experience with moderating on Gmod servers. I have been staff on many deathrun based Gmod servers over the years of owning Gmod. Some examples include; Get Rekt, Cosmos servers, NexusNation(before the reboot), Gentleman gamers, and a few others that i cant remember the names of as it was a long time ago.  For cosmos servers, i was the co-owner providing support with the running of the servers add-ons and plugins in the early days of the server. After we had settled in, i mainly dealt with the staff applications and staffing of the server.  It has been a while since i have done anything on Gmod, due to having college to worry about and other student related problems. However, my student life has come to a close and i now have a lot of free time on my hands to spend on the server ( until i get a job which won't be till next year some time :P ).  Although i have not done much on Gmod recently, i still remember the basics for ulx commands and im sure it wont take me long to get up to speed. I will always have a mic plugged in so i can speak to any players or staff, on the discord or in game.  TL;DR i am an experienced Gmod staff member. If they continue mute/gag them again and confirm with other staff that i will be kicking or banning the person for a period of time.  [b]Someone is being sexist towards a member on the server, How do you react?[/b] mute/gag them promptly, then explain to them that sexism is not allowed on the server. If they continue mute/gag them again and confirm with other staff that i will be kicking or banning the person for a period of time.  [b]Someone is threatening to DDOS a member and the server, How do you react?[/b] Bring them into a private chat, to try and diffuse the situation. If unable to reason with the player, copy their IP and tell staff that I will be banning the player for threatening to DDOS the server. Immediately message the owner/Head developer to inform them that the server might be being DDOSed giving them the player's name or steam id as well as their IP.
